What is LED light therapy?

Infrared LED light is a natural, safe and effective way to promote healing, facial rejuvenation and fat loss. The LED light penetrates the body 1-2 inches, and in just 15 minutes about 70% of the light from this powerful machine is absorbed. Sessions typically last 20 minutes.

Light at 635 nm drains fat cells, the contents are then eliminated by the body via the lymphatic system, liver and kidneys, to slim and tone the arms, waist, hips and thighs. Light at 880 nm increases collagen and elastin formation to even and tone the skin, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles for facial rejuvenation. What can you expect during a session?

During the treatment, you will be lying comfortably on a massage table.  The flexible LED light pads will be positioned in specific places on your body as you enjoy a relaxing 20-minute session. It may be recommended that you use a whole body vibration machine for 10 minutes post treatment, or perform 60 minutes of vigorous exercise, to stimulate the lymphatic system. It is also recommended that you perform dry brushing at home to further stimulate the lymphatic system.

What areas of the body can be treated?

The light can be placed essentially on any part of the body for promoting healing of swelling, pain and inflammation. For fat loss the light can be effectively used on any part of the body where localized fat deposits exist, this typically includes the arms, waist, hips, thighs, and legs. For facial rejuvenation the light is positioned over the head and neck.

Do you have to follow a diet?

Technically no changes are required. However, you can expect faster and more long-term results if you follow a healthy balanced whole food diet, including plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, good fats, lean proteins, and drink plenty of water, while you reduce or eliminate processed foods, refined carbs, and sugar.

Do you have to exercise?

It may be recommended that you use a whole body vibration machine for 10 minutes post treatment to stimulate the lymphatic system to promote circulation and help burn the fat that has been released. However, you can expect faster and more long-term results if you add 30 minutes of varied exercise daily.

The 6 pads are rated at 124,000 mW of light energy per pad placement, emitting much more light energy than the competition. Our LED system also has a much higher absorption rate compared to laser treatment therapy due to the refraction and strength of the beam. Typically, each fat cell absorbs approximately 70% of the LED light energy compared to only 40% absorption rate for lasers. The result is far superior results in fat reduction and inches lost.

What are the risks of LED light therapy?

There are no known adverse side effects to LED light therapy. However, it is not recommended that you use it while you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, undergoing active cancer treatment, or taking immunosuppressant drugs.

Infrared LED light will cause the fat cell membranes to temporarily alter the permeability of the cell wall. This change allows some of the fat contents to seep out to where it can then be processed by the body.

After being released, the fat is broken down into free fatty acids and glycerol that enter the blood stream. Once in the blood stream, the fatty acids can be either used as fuel or quickly eliminated by the body.
